Instructions

  1. Details of a Model Biplane are shown on the accompanying drawings.
  2. Make and assemble the project using the materials specified in the Parts List.
  3. Design, make and an Undercarriage (Part 11) for the model and attach it in the position shown on the drawing .
    (Note : 20% of the marks will be awarded for this section.)
  4. Hole Saws may be used for the manufacture of the Fuselage (Part 1) and the Upper Wing (Part 2).
  5. Attach the Battery Holder (Part 4) to the Lower Wing (Part 3) using a Pop Rivet.
  6. Complete, test and solder the Electric Circuit.
  7. Your Examination Number must be clearly shown on the top surface of the Upper Wing (Part 2).
  8. Your completed project, clearly identified with your Examination Number, must be available to the visiting examiner along with the necessary testing equipment (battery or transformer).
