Instructions

  1. Details of a Model Go-Kart are shown on the accompanying drawing.
  2. Make and assemble the Project using the materials specified in the Parts List.
  3. Bond the Wheels (Part 8) to the axle of the gear box and bond the Battery Holder (Part 11) to the Control Panel(Part 10).
  4. (i) Design, make and attach a Seat capable of linear adjustment for the model.
    (ii) Design, make and attach a Safety Bar for the model and attach behind the seat.
    (Note : 20% of the marks will be awarded for this section.)
  5. Complete, test and solder the Electric Circuit.
  6. Your Examination Number must be clearly shown in the position indicated on Part 3 of the drawing.
  7. Your completed project, clearly identified with your Examination Number, must be available to the visiting examiner along with the necessary testing equipment (battery or transformer).
